Focusing on the following areas: museums, historical societies and/or organizations, non-profit sector jobs. Key abilities in development, membership, and prospect research. Can anyone suggest any businesses, organizations, foundations, etc. to look in to? I've tried searching Monster.com, Craigslist, etc. but would like some other suggestions....
Looking for a job in the Washington D.C. area...?
For the DC area, your best bet is to look for jobs at www.washingtonpost.com. They have tons of local jobs on there. Many of the museums in DC are part of the US government, so you may want to check www.usajobs.gov. Another site (for non-profits, etc.) is www.idealist.org.
