Job openings in D.C. and P.G. County, MD???

I'm 22. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Sociology. I have a college degree, and several years of office experience, but yet i do not have a job. It has been several months now. i have been applying everywhere, put my resume on every job website, but i only seem to be getting temp work. i need a job with a salary, with insurance...i'm so stressed. Social work is not my thing (need a MA anyway). I want to save up to get my master's in Cultural Studies, not to mention move out of my parents house.





Does anyway know of any job openings outside of retail and selling cars?

I'm not familiar with Maryland, but you should apply for a state job. They don't pay squat to start, but there is a lot of opportunity for upward mobility and the benefits are out of this world!!! In Delaware, after 90 days, you get full medical, dental, life insurance, retirement plan and various other perks, in addition to 12 paid state holidays off per year and 15 vacation days and 15 sick days per year accrued monthly beginning your very first month (9.5 hrs per month). It's not a bad idea. I was in your situation not too long ago!!!

Reply:Try County government jobs. If you live close to Montgomery County, check their website at www.montgomerycountymd.gov (click on "Careers" or something like that on the left). I don't know how PG County is with government jobs.
