It shouldn't span more than 2 side of A4 paper. The font shouldnt be too big/small or fancy. Stick to a plain font such as Arial or Times New Roman and font size 12. This usually works out :)
Reply:Present your CV as nicely as you can, after all, it represents you. Presenting it in a folder or similar looks professional.
Have a cover sheet. Also ensure you number each sheet (1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc) and have your name or identifier on each sheet in case they come adrift.
Have plenty of white space so that it is easily read, quickly.
Type your CV so it is easy to read and use only one side of the page.
Don't go for fancy fonts and decoration, unless it will truly serve a purpose.
Ensure spelling and grammar are correct.
Don't ramble - keep it clear, concise and factual.
Make clear segments for each item e.g. work history, educational qualifications. Don't just lump them all together.
Ascertain whether documentation is required to be lodged with the CV, and ensure it is all present and correct, if necessary. Try to not let original documents out of your possession. It can be a nightmare if they are lost. Copies will generally suffice.
Always keep a copy for your own records.
