Are people with glamorous jobs that only one's who truly enjoy there job?

i knwo most ppl have to compromise with reality to support themselves


in my microbiology course the teacher get's sarcastic and says i know i'm gonna dissapoint u guys..but we have to leave about 1 hour early today


i know i know u can stay and look at the pictures


lol cuz he knows no one wants to do that


and i hear of ppl who can't wait for there shift to finish


celebs or ppl with glamourous jobs u don't c them "zoned out or being restlessa bout finishing a movie shoot, concert etc....unless they get money hungry and don' care for it but i'm sure to say most of them do enjoy shooting movies..performing and meetings they have to attend"

i think the ppl that follow their heart, don't care about money, and have a passion for their job are the ones who truly enjoy their work. unfortunately a lot of ppl get sucked into which job/major will yield the most money and end up being unhappy in the end. so bottom line pick a job that makes you happy not one that will make you money!
Reply:No, people with glamorous jobs are not always happy even though they may appear to be. for example look at all the actors who attempt or do kill themselves. you dont see them complaining about their job. then take people who have jobs working with animals or in the wild. they are not glamourous at all but the people enjoy it because it is what they like to do. so overall, no who enjoy their jobs could have any job it just depends on the person whether or not the enjoy it.

Reply:I am a social worker in the area of child protection. I work with children who've lost their parents due to abuse, neglect, or their parents just couldn't get it together long enough to impress the courts. My children (my clients) live in group homes mostly. It's definitely not a glamorous job, by any stretch, but I absolutely love it and can't imagine doing anything else.


I think that when your career has meaning to you, when it seems important enough for you, you'll love it. And because you love it, it becomes fun. I like my job and think it's fun because I've found that I've got some really cool skills that I never thought I had before and I'm able to be effective and help my clients.

Reply:no many people go to college and do it because they want to go to college and earn a master's or bachelor's degree because they want to do their job and have fun with it

Reply:Singers and actresses actually sometimes, the more famous they are have to do more work. Some of them have only 2-4 hours of sleep due to travelling, filming .etc. So no, you can have a glamourous job, yet still be sad.

Doctors? They earn alot, yet work so much that they don't even have time to spend the money. Then what's the point of earning all that money?
