i wish to write out my C.V but cannot remember any dates from my past jobs. is there any databases i can get this information from
Writing my C.V?
Not that you can access as far as I am aware. The Inland Revenue might hold details if you would like to try to contact them. If you keep your Bank Statements or payslips you might be able to back track through those or you can contact the employers to see if they are willing to give you the details.
Reply:Have you got an old CV you could get the details from? Or perhaps old payslips? If you've every applied for a job via an employment agency they may have the details on your file. Otherwise, could you speak to your current HR department?
Reply:Hmm I get back to you....
Reply:We'll let you know.
Reply:You can find out from the application you submitted with your present employer.
Reply:I would probably use the word resume on this board, because you'll net yourself more answers. Outside of this, only you know where you've been, however I'm sure you can get a full employment history from the IRS (assuming you're from the US).
Reply:It is sufficient to put just years rather than exact dates when you were employed. You may be able to recall this much. Here are some suggestions 1) ask family members; some of them may have very good memory of what you told them years before 2) ask friends from past companies 2) look back at some old loan applications. Good luck.
Reply:Ask the taxman!
Reply:Just make them up!
Reply:Databases??? What!?
There is no database that you can access, as it is you who must remember the dates,
but
You could phone ask the Inland Revenue (Crack open a phone book) what advice they can offer you. They may be able to send you old copies of your P60 annual tax summary, which may help.
Reply:should check ur old p45's
Reply:How about getting testimonial from our old jobs. This will be of advantage coz you can attached them when sending out job application and since they are reliable as they can prove you worked at a certain organization
