Jobs for an 18 year old????

im 18 and have a qualification for I.T skills level 1 and currently on a level 2 course which i may quit, so aprt from dat i dont have many qualifications except for English C GCSE and literatuture %26amp; A* Spanish. Anyone have any tips for jobs i could possibly apply for and realistically get? im willing to try anything aslong as it pays well. thankyou x.

London underground tube driver, it pays around £40,000 and you can do it with your qualifications.


I'm not sure how much national train drivers get paid.


Another job you could look into possibly is becoming a health and safety inspector, once you become and independant inspector you can earn around £80,000 a year.


once again it can be done with your qualifications but it'll take you a while to get your independant licence.


Finally the best I'd say is a bit harder but try and use your Spanish as a translator. if you were to get an A level in another language and possibly another one in a direction you may be interested in persuing it would really help your chances.

Reply:I would approach some companies directly to see what they have to offer. Or what about an IT specialist recruitment agency. Even if they can't help you directly they'll have the contacts and guidance you might need.





Also, don't use text speak (aprt/dat) when applying for jobs. It puts people off! Trust me ... I work in HR and it's a complete no no ..
