What good jobs are there during/after highschool?

Hi, I'm currently in high school but I'm grad. in Jan 09' b/c of my credits. I'm looking for a well paid job to make enough money, so I could move out when I turn 18 (of next year) since I don't get along with my family. I'm thinking about living with my boyfriend's at his house, but I'm willing to pay rent since I don't want his family to think I'm just using him as a ATM. I've been looking for jobs but their isnt any good ones. I want a well paid job so I could pay enough for rent and personal spendings and for college. Since I'm grad in Jan 09', I'll have basically half the year til college starts and I'm thinking about saving enough money to pay for college. Any ideas? Please don't reply with stupid answers or comments. I'm think about working as a waitress or host since i heard it pays well depending on the night. Any suggestions? Thanks! :)

I recommend you think about taking classes after high school. Medical Imagery takes only 2 years but has starting bonuses of $5000 and pays $50,000 or more starting. Most high school diploma jobs pay very little. My cousin did well working for Mariott as a waiter, mostly banquets but that means a lot of nights and weekends.
Reply:Waitressesing is probably a good way to make decent money. A less stressful option would be Costco or Sam's Club. I've heard they pay 13/hr. If you join a union, some grocery stores pay over 12/hr.
