That all depends on how good the body is. If theres no rust,dents n so on in good shape then under $1000 if not good then that depends on how bad it is total resto could be anywhere from 2000 to 50000 depending on how carried away you want to get

Look at the top few pictures of this Volkswagen, he used Krylon Fusion Satin Black spray paint. A good paint job will be about a thousand, spray can will be much cheaper. Plus you can tell from the many angles that the paint quality looks fairly even for a spray paint job.
