What skills do I need to get a Government job in Washington D.C?

OMgosh, right now I am praying for strength to leave this question alone!

ROFLOL

What skills do I need to get a Government job in Washington D.C?
Many Federal Jobs are located in the DC-VA-MD area. Every federal agency has offices in the metro area. Most of the positions are either specialized professionals (Human resources, criminal investigation, IT, ect) or general office work. Some positions are rather unique to the area such as archivists, librarians, monument caretakers.

For the most part, the skills are not different from the the skills needed outside of government employment.

Reply:Get a Bachelors in Criminal Justice, do an internship in college for a government agency and DO NOT commit any crimes that may be held against you later. Good luck!
Reply:Since you don't know this answer, I think you are already qualified.
Reply:You really need the ability to say one thing, and do another. Aside from that, I can't think of anything.
